Zentangle Challenge # 266

I was trying to draw  this lovely tangle "Ududu" by Ina Sonnenmoser          and was wondering what tangles should I use for the background ...and up comes Diva's this week's challenge,,,, "UMT....Crux by Henrike Bratz". I love grid based tangle and Crux is one of the lovely tangles that lends itself to a variety of tangelations....So here is my response to this week's challenge ....Ududu lying on a bed of Crux,


I remember using crux in  Diva's challenge # 175 where I had used 6 variations of crux to make a nice cube shown in Fig 1.
