Went for a long holiday in Jan 2016 to Cambodia and Thailand...here are some pictures taken at the Tiger temple in Thailand. It was a really an exciting experience seeing those magnificent creatures at such close quarter.
However I felt that the tigers were drugged...otherwise how do you explain their extremely tame behaviour? However the monks and employees deny it and claim that investigation were carried out by Thai authorities and accusations by animal activists were proven to be incorrect.
Here are some pictures
L to R ....That's me , my cousin Chandrika,, her husband Guru , and the brave guy with the tiger head on his lap is my cousin Raghu !
That's me ....ready to bolt just in case the tiger takes a dislike to me.
Whoa ... I've got the tiger by the tail , but was very aware that there are teeth at the other end !
That fella moved his tail out of the way....must have thought that this lady would hold his tail too :-) smile emoticon
Here is one guy who is not in a state of semi-consciousness
